Joe is the co-founder of Suneris and inventor of the company’s gel technology.
As the face of Suneris, Joe meets with investors and clinicians to stay current in the demands of the markets. He leads innovation and the development of technology at Suneris while managing a team of professionals directing specific aspects of the company.
Joe is the 21-year old inventor of VETI-GEL, a gel that can instantly stop traumatic bleeding without the need to apply pressure. He recently built a state of the art manufacturing facility in Brooklyn, New York to bring the product to market.
Joe has research experience in biocompatible polymers and was selected as a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar in 2013 in recognition of his outstanding potential in scientific research. He was named a 2014 TED Global Fellow and is an active Innovation Consultant at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. He holds an MS in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomaterials, and a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering.
