Yeah you read it right! Instead of paying for a carwash you can easily wash your car yourself. In doing so, not only will you save time and money, but also burn the extra calories that is required to get a better leaner shape.
Use Your Legs
Indeed you are busy and there is no time for a morning walk or jogging for that matter but one thing that we all can do is brisk-walk to the office if it’s nearby. Although, if the office is far then you can park your vehicle somewhere close by and then walk to office. Well this habit won’t take much of your time, as a brisk walk of 10-15 minutes in the morning and again in the evening can burn up to 150-200 calories a day.
Staircase- Up & Down
Scenario one- Getting in your office, pressing the lift-button, waiting for the elevator to arrive, getting in the lift, stepping out on your floor, entering your cabin and here you are sitting on the seat.
Scenario two – Everything remains the same, except the elevator. This time instead of elevator you switched to the staircase, and just to make things more challenging, you tried beating the elevator by reaching your floor before it could and here you are, in your cabin and on your seat.
Do the same thing every time you go ‘up or down’ in the office. Like the idea? Try it. This procedure won’t only burn extra fat in your body, but also spice up your attitude in the office.
Like China loves cats, we Indians have this special affection for dogs. If you got a dog in your house, then don’t wait any longer. Instead of taking your dog for the usual routine walk of 10 minutes, try taking him to a nearby playground, and yeah don’t forget to take along a Frisbee or a ball. Throw the ball or a Frisbee around and compete with the speed of your dog. The whole activity will probably burn fat than the usual boring walk and it will be fun for both you and your dog.
No one wishes to be kept standing for long, thus, no matter where you are the probability is there would be a chair as well. The basic purpose of a chair is to make you comfortable on it but there are few other things that can be done with a chair. You can keep your toes on the chair while doing push ups, hold onto the hand-rest while trying to raise your body from the seat or simply raise your legs above ground level at 90 degrees, and many other activities. These activities will tone up different muscles and the amazing thing is there are no machines or tools required; all you need is a chair.
Not every exercise requires a dumbbell or other heavy stuff. Be it home or office, if you can spare 10-15 minutes during the day then you can do push ups, pull ups, sit ups, free squats, crunches, and many more. These exercises may not assist a lot in bulking up your body, but will certainly tone you muscles and make you much leaner and stronger then you are.
